Male enhancement injuries
Apr 26, 2024ATTENTION! Don't hesitate to seek immediate medical attention if you suspect you have a serious injury! Nothing mentioned below should be considered medical advice in any manner.
Tiny red dots: Intense pressure or gripping can result in tiny red spots. These microbruises are known as "petechiae". This is caused by high pressure forcing blood to the skin.
As long as the spots are smaller than pinhead-size and dissipate in under 24 hours, you should be OK. More than this is a sign of overwork.
Spotting can be alleviated with light massage, hot wraps, and (if needed) topical arnica.
Bruising: Bruises are often seen in male enhancement training from either too tight of a manual grip, or an ill-fitting device. More extensive versions of this can manifest itself into a blood blister. Very rarely, bruising can result from a penile fracture.
Pumping and other high pressure activities can induce a light, uniform bruising in the form of discoloration. Localize massage can help to speed dissipation in this case.
Rash: Rashes are a common malady and often arise from a lack of proper lube or not enough post-training hygiene. In some cases, they may result from lubes with perfumes or other substances unsuitable for the sensitive genital area.
There are ointments specific to rashes which can be applied, but prevention is still the best tool.
Thrombosis: This term describes a distended blood vessel. This isn't a common injury, but it can be possible to induce this by using a too-tight grip or excess force during training.
In most cases, this is a temporary issue which can heal itself in a few days. More extreme distortions may require rest and light compression. Mild activities to induce blood flow and heat can also be helpful.
Ligament strain: This type of issue is often seen in those who hang with too much weight or too much volume for manual or device based training. It may also be induced with inadequate recovery.
Soreness and a penis that hangs limply with no tension at the base are symptoms. Rest, heat and antiinflammatories are suggested for this issue.
Peyronie's: Peyronie's Disease is essentially an accumulation of scar tissue in the shaft of the penis. This can arise due to trauma, though medical professionals agree that this malady can arise even without injury.
Extenders have been shown to have a beneficial effect on mild cases of Peyronie's*. Serious cases of Peyronie's will require medical intervention for treatment.

Broken Penis: A broken penis is a severe injury where the tunica of the penis ruptures. The most common cause of this is mistimed intercourse- where the penis misses the intended orifice (usually with the partner on top).
This isn't a "DIY" type of injury- you MUST seek immediate medical attention for a broken penis!
Hemosiderin stains: This type of discoloration is different from bruising. Hemosiderin stains are deposits of red blood cells that accumulate under the skin- resulting in a lasting reddish tone. Intense and repetitive high pressure activities like pumping or clamping can result in staining.
The recommended treatment for this is an application of Vitamin B5. Be sure to always test out a very small portion of any ointment on your penis first before a full application.
Conclusion: It's possible to go your entire training career without any serious injuries. As long as you're easing into training and inspecting your penis regularly for anomalies- as well as performing warm ups and using good form of your movements (as well as using equipment properly, as needed), you should remain relatively injury-free.
