Length training should be a simple endeavor: induce enough tension to expand both the suspensory ligament of the penis and the tunica in order to induce increased tissue flexibility. While this is the goal, there are some things which can interfere with the process.
One main cause of interference is skin- either the skin behind the glans or a natural foreskin getting the brunt of the tension. It's vital to secure any interfering skin behind the glans before setting your device or grip- as not doing so will cause interference.
One effective method is to use a sleeve to restrain any excess skin. A sleeve can also act as padding and adhesion for both device based and manual training.
A good alternative to using a sleeve is 3M Micropore tape or cohesive tape. Both are easy to apply- and to remove. The cohesive tape can be built up for padding as well.
Something that you MUST do when training for length is to develop a literal "feel" for the movement- which means putting your mind into your training. This is known as developing a "kinesthetic" sense, and bring cognizant of what's happening to your penis during training will ensure you're getting the most out of your training.
With some effort, you can literally feel your penis elongating as you train!
Another concern is too MUCH tension. The goal of enlargement is to develop tissue flexibility. The level of tension, weight, etc. used is incidental to this, but not the goal unto itself. Too much force can actually cause a toughening effect- which is counter to your goals. When in doubt, err on the side of caution and go for lighter tension.
